Innovationsallianz Baden-Württemberg sets course for the future

The aim is to intensify the activities. Many companies in Baden-Württemberg need increased innovations. Die Innovationsallianz Baden-Württemberg (innBW) has been supporting the transfer of technology from research to industry for years. Now, the alliance of 13 non-university research institutes will receive an office in Stuttgart and a legal framework as a registered association. This was ratified by innBW on June 24th, 2020. The current spokesperson, Prof. Dr. Alfons Dehé, will be become chairman with Prof. Dr. Katja Schenke-Layland as deputy chairman. Anke Fellmann will head the office. With this reorganization, the Research Foundation intends to further expand its contacts with companies and position itself even more effectively. The aim is to transfer new technologies, including those from energy, information and health research, to companies in Baden-Württemberg-based. Minister of Commerce, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, welcomed the decision and assured financial support.
