Particle sensor - developing a highly-integrated portable system for real-time analysis of the ambient air
Project duration: February 1st, 2019 thru December 31st, 2022 Funded by ZIM/AIF Support code: ZF4429204GM8
In order to be able to prevent specific allergic reactions and to be able to coordinate the best therapeutic measures, the most differentiated information possible about the respective local stress profile is of decisive importance. Systems to determine pollen concentrations on a small-scale and/or individual level are not yet available due to a lack of suitable measurement and instrument technology. The project aims at the development of a miniaturized, fully automated system for the real-time detection and analysis of airborne particles in the form of fine dust and allergy-relevant pollen species in ambient air. The aim is to achieve extreme miniaturization compared to today´s state of the art.
